The 'Terms and Conditions given below and on our website, the tour registration form and any ther printed material and brochures, form the basis of our contract with you. You are required to read, understand and accept all the terms and conditions, before you have registered yourself / family / friend for any of our services.

Terms & Conditions:

    • We are basically travel and holiday organizers only. We do not control or operate any airline or any other mode of transport like shipping, railway, motor, buses, coaches, etc. or any hotel or restaurant, other facility or services mentioned in our travel services. We also do not own or control any Hotel, Restaurant, Transport or other facility or the services mentioned in our travel services or tours. We take utmost care in selecting all the independent contractor for making your holiday a comfortable one. We only select but do not have any control in running them. Thus, we are not responsible for any injury, loss, personal harm, death or damage that may be caused to any person or property which may be caused by the act or default of the management or employees or the services of any Independent contractor and arising outside our normal selection and inspection process. Independent contractor means any hotelier/hotel owner, owner of any airlines or shipping company or Bus/car supplier or Railway or Ferry Boat/ Cruise/Coach owner/operator or any other person or organization which company has selected to render the services to the Passenger(s).
    • All baggage and personal effects shall be at all times and in all circumstances, the responsibility of passengers. Travel Smart will not be responsible or liable for any loss of such baggage and personal effects during the tour/travel.
    • In case of Hotel bookings,All arrivals prior to 07.00 am will be booked, held & charged for from the previous evening itself.  In the absence of arrival details/timings, all confirmed room reservations would be deemed as guaranteed up to 15.00hrs. only, and may be released thereafter. Should your tour programme or itinerary be altered or delayed for any reason whatsoever, kindly notify the nearest hotel on your itinerary. Please also notify the same to us by quickest way of communication.
    • Please note that any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks, cloudburst etc. (to be borne by the clients directly on the spot).
    • Any increase in taxes or fuel leading to an increase in surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure to be borne by the traveler.
    • Early morning drive before 5 am and Night Drive after 20.00 pm will  be charged extra.
    • In Hill station, normal room accommodation would be Non AC Rooms as these are Hill Stations.  At any other place the room accommodation would be standard room, base category  unless the guest has chosen higher category by paying the cost difference.
    •  Rates are subject to change & Rooms are subject to availability. No refunds are given for unused or partly used vouchers. During Peak season or in case of any event,  Holiday surcharge will be applicable.
    • Provisional rates: If a rate is shown on an itinerary as being ‘PROVISIONAL’, this means that the airline, hotel or tour/ground operator has not confirmed the exact price at the time of booking.
    • All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time as per the respective hotel policy until unless indicated in the itinerary.
    •  We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred - directly or indirectly - due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents. We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting - directly or indirectly - from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.  We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country.
    • IN KEEPING WITH OUR HEIGHTENED SECURITY PROCEDURES WE REQUEST YOU TO CARRY A PHOTO-IDENTITY TO PRESENT AT CHECH-IN. FOREIGN NATIONALS WILL REQUIRE TO PRESENT THE PASSPORT AND VALID VISA WHILE INDIAN NATIONALS CAN PRESENT ANY ONE OF THESE: PASSPORT,DRIVING LICENSE, VOTER ID CARD or PAN CARD. 
    • Any change of itinerary before receipt of full payment on any particular travel related services will be termed an amendment. An amendment fee  per change will be levied according to the amount of work involved. Where Travel Smart  is acting as the agent for the tour /Cruise operator, you should refer to the booking conditions contained in the tour /Cruise operator’s brochure. Any change of itinerary after receipt of full payment, will be subject to applicable cancellation conditions.
    • In case of car/coach rental services, Travel Smart acts solely as a vehicle hire broker for various independent vehicle supplier companies, herein called as `Suppliers’.   Travel Smart takes utmost care in selecting the suppliers. Clients should note that the contract for vehicle hire is between the hirer and the local supplier and is subject to the law of the jurisdiction in which it is supplied to you. Travel smart accepts no responsibility whatsoever for loss, damage, injury or death, whether arising from negligence, breach of contract or any other cause, delay or irregularities, resulting from defects of vehicle or neglect of any company or person entrusted for execution of any arrangement.
    • Our local car rental partner-suppliers or their representative can refuse to provide a vehicle to any customer who, in their opinion, is using the vehicle for any illegal purposes. In such circumstances your contract with us will be terminated, and we will have no further liability to you.
    • A driver shall be waiting at the pre-informed spot with a placard/board with the name of the passenger.  In case of any changes made to the flight/ train schedule, please ensure that Travel Smart or our suppliers is informed of the new details well in time.  In this case the waiting charges will be taken into account at the time of billing. Your co-operation in this matter will be much appreciated so that we serve better.
    • Extending the rental duration must always be done directly with us. The extension is possible subject to availability of the vehicle.
    • Booking has to be made with minimum 20% advance. Balance amount to be paid 2 days prior to the trip. Cancellations and amendments must always be made directly with us.
    • In case of Air bookings, Please note that Airfares, fuel surcharges and taxes are subject to increase until full payment is received and tickets issued. It is therefore to your advantage to finalise payment as soon as you can after booking. However Government taxes additional to the fare and fuel surcharges may be imposed or increased without notice at any time up until departure date.
    • In case of E-tickets where your boarding pass is issued at check in. In case of cancellation of airticket, the refund amount and time will depend on the rules & regulations of the respective airline. The administrative charges will be applied for every change/cancellation. Any last minute flight changes or changes after office hours/holidays, may be directly made with the respective airline by giving the PNR/Ticket no.  Please note that part-used ticket may have no refund value. Airline reservation is not transferable.  We strongly recommend that you check your onward or return flight details on the respective airline’s website or with their call centre at least 24 hours prior to departure. If you are unsure of the baggage allowance, please check with the respective airline. Travel Smart can assist you in requesting  pre allocating the seats or requesting other services, However, as these are not paid services, they are never guaranteed.
    • Passport & Visa : In case of international travel, please ensure that you are fully aware of all passport and visa requirements and that you allow adequate time to obtain them. We recommend that you travel with a passport that has a minimum validity of 6 months remaining at all times. This is an immigration requirement for many countries and airlines
    • INSURANCE: Travel Smart strongly recommends insurance cover whenever you travel abroad.
    • CANCELLATIONS/AMENDMENTS/REFUNDS: It is important that you are fully aware of the cancellation and administrative charges. If a booking needs to be cancelled, written notice must be given by the person who is not travelling.
    • In case visa processing assistance we are only acting as a visa facilitator. We have no control over visa granting consulates/ embassies. Wherever personal interviews are needed, the candidate has to attend the interviews personally.  Visa fees are non-refundable.
    • It is imperative that all the passengers who are joining any of our tours, shall abide by and strictly comply and observe all the terms and conditions laid down herein. When you make the payment part or full towards service, means you have read the terms and conditions and agree the same. Any Claim related to the Package must be brought to the notice of the Company within a week.   All the disputes are subject to Pune Jurisdiction only.
      Cancellation Policy:-Cancellation within 30 Days prior to the arrival date of the tour packages / Hotel Booking / Transportation: 20% retention, Cancellation within 15 Days prior to the arrival date of the tour packages / Hotel Booking / Transportation : 50 %  retention, Cancellation within 10 Days prior to the arrival date of the tour packages / Hotel Booking / transportation or Non Utilization of the  same : 100 % Retention.In case of bookings in peak season or bookings done at the best available rate: 100% retention.
